i’m awesome.

countdown to london-proper: T minus 7 days.

The Spadina Monologues reminder!

see a workshop performance of the play and attend my going-away party afterward! ALL FREE (except for the booze, of course)

Start Time: Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 8:00pm. THIS THURSDAY!

Location: Theatre Passe Muraille, 16 Ryerson Avenue, Toronto, Ontario (one block east of Bathurst & one block north of Queen West).

Tickets: free! FREE, I TELLS YA!

The workshop will be performed by MOI and Brendon Smith, directed by Layne Coleman, and stage managed by Tara Carman (dramaturgy by Bea Pizano).

rehearsals are running better than expected. after only 5 days, we’ve memorized the entire script and have all our blocking down. the show runs about 45-50 minutes, so it’s short n’ sweet, but the party afterward will run as long as there’s people feelin’ the need for sweet sweet liquor.

rehearsals have not been without hiccups.

i threw a hissy fit the other day. when i act and i have to bring all my vulnerable emotions to the surface, i can become madame primadonna. i ran into the green room for a stupid sob-fest.to give you an idea/point of reference, it was something like this:

i’m still awesome, dammit.

less grover, more teabag.
