"Blogging isn't journalism, it's graffiti with punctuation."

listen to the abstract

i have pre-cancerous cells.

i am rotting from the inside out.

luckily, my mother has put me on a protocol.

the next six months will be interesting.

and all this, a mere 24 hours after this:

i am jack’s broken heart.

he said, “Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair.”

there are flat clouds moving across the sky right now, shaped like the faces of people i used to love.

i am going to stare at them for the rest of the day.

if i stare hard enough, maybe i can make them disappear.

  2. Every time I stumble upon a new blog and the most recent post is something bad/sad/personal, I always feel a bit awkward.

You know what makes me feel less awkward? Hugging the shit out of people.

So if you feel like hugging it out with a crazy ass stranger, lemme know.

    Love is better than hate.

Who will step up and fill Jack’s shoes?

    Jack’s dream is still alive.

Hug a stranger. Don’t fear danger.

Life is short, live it well.

  4. You are loved & will always have people to turn to for support through this chapter of your life. The pills & doctor visits will suck but the love that you will see pour out to you will keep your days bright through it all if you let it.

Just by reading your blog anyone can tell that you are an amazing gift of a soul and anyone is lucky to have cross paths with such a vibrant girl such as yourself. Take pride in that, find strength in how far you have already come & love more then ever.

You are a tough cookie, this is only a speed-bump. Love more, Fear Less.

  5. Didn’t know about the pre-cancerous cells until I saw your tweet today. I hope your mom’s remedies do the trick! Good luck, Christine!
