I went a little crazy one winter and went around writing messages around Greenpoint. I got stopped by a sanitation supervisor in a little white car at around lunch time. He asked if I had permission to do that and I shrugged and said no. He rolled his eyes and told me to get out of there, he didn’t want to have to do paperwork. I guess he could have called the police. So I left it half done. My paint was in a plastic bag on the handlebars of my bike and someone stole it when I went into a deli. So I bought another quart of paint and finished it that night. But you can see the other paint wasn’t very good because half of the message started to fade right away.
Anyway, that’s the story. I’m kinda feeling restless again this winter but I live in Bed-Stuy now.

PS I really like your photos. Don’t ever stop 🙂
