Eurail day 6: Padua part 1
I’m sorry, I don’t know if I’m allowed to handle such beauty on a budget. Do I need to pay for seeing things? Cuz this view is worth a million Euros, my friend. People kept asking me why I wanted to come to Padua, of all the places in Itay that I could go to. My answer was the same as George Mallory’s when asked why he wanted to climb Everest: because it’s there.
And look at the sumptuous beauty of this place! People tried to dissuade me from coming here, but it’s so lovely!
I’m sorry, but I’m an extremely talented photographer.
My Couchsurfing host Frida took me to the public markets today. It’s Saturday and Christmas is approaching so the markets were full of people stocking up for the holidays.
Those aren’t wrenches, my friend, that’s chocolate.
And that’s chocolate.
And that’s chocolate. I think just by looking at these, I have Type 9 Diabetes.
Shoes and chocolate, together at last! If the Golden Girls were still around, they would lose their minds in this market.
Chocolate iPads and iPhones! They thought of everything!
Can you believe all the streets in Padua look like this? THIS LOOKS LIKE A SCREENSAVER!
Little kids playing with pigeons in front of the Duomo. I liked the kids more than the Duomo. You seen one church, you seen them all. But kids are pookies and are adorable. NO MY BIOLOGICAL CLOCK ISN’T TICKING.
Ok maybe it is.
So I need to blog about Padua in two parts because I took so many great photographs, one long post would not do it justice. Expect part 2 soon!
Also, in terms of travelling on a budget, check out how I spent my money today…..HOW COOL AM I?
